π Client Onboarding SOP β Part 1
What Happens After a Client Submits the Onboarding Form
This is your go-to guide for setting up new clients the right way. Every step here is critical to ensure a smooth, consistent experience.

STEP 1: Verify the Onboarding Worksheet
Ensure the onboarding form is fully filled out with:
- Business Name, Phone, Address (NAP)
- List of services and service areas
- All login credentials (Gmail, Website, GBP, Domain, etc.)
- Staff names and emails
π STEP 2: Create the Client Folder Structure
Inside Google Drive β All Clients, create a new folder using this format:
BusinessName_Assets
Then create the following subfolders:
- Onboarding
- Project Photos
- Legal Documents
Upload the completed worksheet into the Onboarding folder.
ποΈ STEP 3: Set Up the Sub-Account in GoHighLevel
- Go to Sub-Accounts β Create
- Input business info from the worksheet
- Load the snapshot: Home Services Snapshot
- Go to Settings β Business Profile and add all details
- Under Team, add staff members as admins (info is in worksheet)
π STEP 4: Buy and Verify a Local Phone Number
- In the sub-account, go to Phone Numbers β Buy Number
- Use the clientβs area code (e.g., 330) to filter
- Set the number as default
- Link the number to the A2P campaign
Note: If A2P is not registered yet, refer to the separate A2P SOP.
π STEP 5: WordPress Website Setup (If Applicable)
If the client has a WordPress site:
- Log into WP Admin
- Install and activate:
- Site Kit by Google β for Search Console & Analytics
- LeadConnector Plugin β for CRM site tracking
- Connect or create new accounts via Site Kit
π STEP 6: Connect Google Business Profile (GBP)
Inside the sub-account, go to Google Business Integration and click Connect. Log in to the clientβs GBP and ensure it syncs properly for:
- Review syncing & responses
- Reputation dashboard integration

Confirm everything is connected and functional. Once completed:
- Mark the onboarding as complete in our CRM
- Notify the fulfillment team
